ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

E-Consent Disclosure

Your consent to receive records and communications electronically.

Effective Date: August 8, 2026   |   Last Updated: August 8, 2026
Draft notice: This E-Consent Disclosure is a website draft. Before live use, it should be reviewed against the actual LumoLoans application flow, electronic-signature process, email/SMS practices, provider disclosures, and applicable federal and state requirements.

Electronic communication consent

When you choose to use an electronic process and provide an email address or mobile number, you may receive documents and communications electronically where permitted by law. You can generally withdraw consent for future electronic communications, subject to applicable exceptions and the requirements of a particular transaction.

1. What You Are Consenting To

By selecting an electronic-consent option or otherwise affirmatively agreeing to electronic communications where required, you may be consenting to receive certain disclosures, notices, records, agreements, updates, and other communications electronically instead of exclusively on paper.

Electronic communications may relate to your request, customer support, account or transaction, provider connection, security, legal notices, or other services you use.

Consent to electronic records is not, by itself, a guarantee that you will receive a loan offer or that any provider will approve your request.

2. Electronic Records and Signatures

Where permitted by applicable law, electronic records and electronic signatures may have the same legal effect as paper records and handwritten signatures. If a particular transaction requires additional consent or a particular electronic-signature process, that process will provide the applicable disclosures and instructions.

You should not electronically sign a document until you have reviewed it and understand the terms that apply to you.

3. Hardware and Software Requirements

To access electronic records, you generally need:

  • a device with internet access;
  • a current web browser capable of displaying standard web pages and downloadable documents;
  • an active email address when email delivery is used;
  • the ability to receive and view PDF or similar electronic documents when applicable; and
  • software capable of receiving and displaying the applicable communications.

You should keep your browser, operating system, security software, and document-viewing software reasonably up to date.

4. Email Communications

If you provide an email address, LumoLoans or a participating provider may use it to communicate about your request or other applicable service, subject to applicable law and the consents you provide.

Transactional and service-related communications may continue even if you opt out of promotional messages when permitted by law.

If an email contains an unsubscribe option for marketing communications, you may use it to withdraw from those promotional emails.

5. Text Messages

If you provide a mobile phone number and separately consent to text messaging, LumoLoans or an applicable provider may send text messages for the purposes described in the applicable consent disclosure.

Marketing text messaging may require separate, legally sufficient consent. The final application flow will specify the applicable message types, frequency disclosures, any applicable message/data-rate statement, and opt-out instructions.

Text-message reminder: If you do not want to receive optional promotional text messages, do not provide or select consent for those messages unless you understand the applicable terms. Where applicable, you can use the STOP instruction provided in a message to request that promotional texts stop.

6. Withdrawing Consent

You may be able to withdraw consent to receive future electronic records or communications by contacting LumoLoans through the Contact page or by following the instructions provided in the applicable communication.

Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide certain services electronically. Some communications may continue when permitted or required by law, including certain records relating to transactions you have requested or entered into.

Withdrawing consent does not automatically cancel or change any agreement, application, or financial product unless the applicable agreement expressly provides otherwise.

7. Paper Copies

Where required by applicable law, you may have the right to request a paper copy of an electronic record. Any applicable fees, procedures, or limitations will be disclosed in the relevant transaction or provider agreement.

Because LumoLoans may connect consumers with independent third-party providers, a request for records relating to a provider's loan agreement may need to be directed to that provider.

8. Third-Party Providers

LumoLoans may connect you with a participating lender, provider, network, or other service partner. A provider may have its own electronic-consent disclosure, privacy policy, terms, and electronic-record procedures.

When a provider presents its own consent or electronic-signature request, review that provider's disclosures carefully. Your consent to LumoLoans' electronic communications does not necessarily constitute consent to every communication from every third party.

9. Security and Contact Information

Electronic communication involves risks associated with email, mobile networks, internet connections, and electronic devices. Use reasonable security practices and keep your contact information current.

Never provide passwords, full bank-account credentials, payment-card details, or other sensitive financial information through an ordinary email response or general contact form.

10. Changes

We may update this E-Consent Disclosure when our electronic communication practices, services, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised date.

11. Contact

If you have questions about electronic records or communications, please use our Contact page.

Production checklist: Before launch, connect this disclosure to the actual consent checkbox, ensure the consent language matches the application page, define transactional versus marketing communications, verify SMS consent requirements, and confirm the final process with qualified US counsel.
